On Scalping

It's just so stupid how scalpers manage to sell patron tickets for an ADMU-DLSU game for almost P20, 000. What's more stupid is the fact that people actually buy them. Naghihirap na nga ang Pilipinas, kung makapanlamang kayo parang walang nagugutom. It's also sad that people from Araneta are allowing this stupidity to happen, while the genuine students and alumni find it hard to acquire normally-priced tickets. They even have to fall in line really early (as early as the night before ticket selling) to get 2, again, just 2 Upper B tickets). Some even get into fights because of making lists and allowing people to make singit. I've had my own falling in line and "buying-from-scalpers" experiences before that's why I was able to watch really important games for the past seasons. But it's really lame. An ADMU-DLSU game is legendary, but there are more important things to school rivalry. Talk about buying school spirit for the price of a month's worth salary of a minimum wager who wakes up everyday wondering how he could budget his money, or if he even has money until the next pay day. There's no way this blog could stop the stupidity of scalping. I know that. I just want to rant. Besides, for the next games, if all else fails, I would still surrender and resort to scalping. It's ADMU-DLSU after all. And I hate myself for being so hardcore that I could bow down to evil last resorts.

Anyway, I'm watching on Sunday. Thanks to my good friend Loren. See you all! One big fight! (Sorry fangirl)
