I exchanged UAAP for Ukay and August 16, 2009

Yes. Just like how Virlynn exchanged Lady Gaga for Ukay (but she was still able to watch the concert live anyway). But it's okay. The game was epic win for my alma mater, but at least I got to watch the game that reached overtime. And above all, at least my supposed scalper money tranformed into tangible things. So here's the story.

After mass, I told my mom that I'd go straight to Araneta to fall in line with Joey who was already waiting for me there. Because I arrived home broke (literally) from QR the night before, I had to go to BPI-Hi Top first to withdraw. The money was buo and I didn't know what to do, but I went to the LRT station anyway. But the people there didn't have change for my bill. And so, I went to the nearest Ukay to look for something interesting. But I told myself that I'd just be fast so that Joey won't get mad at me.

But the Ukay had a great sale that day. Mostly all of the clothes were sold 3 for 100 (or 40 pesos each), bags were priced 50 pesos and shoes were priced 60% off. Joey was texting and texting and I was so "kebs" that I got hit by my naturally-compulsive self for the nth time. Finally, I texted him sorry and that I'd watch at home instead.

And so, when I got home, everyone was surprised because I was carrying a big plastic bag full of clothes and shoes. My cousin and some of our guests (we had a party at home yesterday) were so amazed that they asked me to bring them there too. And so I bought stuff again. For less than 400 pesos, I was able to buy the following:

1. 3 dresses for 100 PhP
2. 1 full black skirt, 1 black top, 1 cover up for 100 PhP
3. Nine West black heels for 88 PhP
4. 1 trench coat for 40 PhP
5. 1 brown bag (which was arbored by my mom) for 50 PhP

Total: 378 PhP

And so, even if I'm a little bitter that I wasn't in Araneta yesterday, I know that I made a WHEAT-y decision, just like WHEAT BREED. Okay inside joke. Don't worry Blue Eagles, I promise to be there in the finals. KAPAL! One big fight. Oh yeah.
