August 20, 2009

Lord, thank you for:
1. The chance to see my crush
2. The diminishing hostility
3. The last day of workweek
4. Our great "party organizing" skills (hence we should put up a business)
5. Burger Machine again
6. Friendship

The last statement sounds so cheesy. But seriously Lord, thank You. Aylabyulongtime.

August 19, 2009

Despite the coldness of yesterday, I still thank God for:
1. My crush who suddenly grabbed my phone from my desk and asked me who I was with in my wallpaper
2. Virlynn who heard my rantings (or read my rantings) while actual hostility was happening
3. Mister Kurosawa - Eastwood treat with my wonderful friends (Pao, Timee, Vian, Dolly, Cas)
4. Sans rival (Burger Machine) with Vian (birthday sans rival from me), Pao and Timee plus Kuya Burger Machine's stories
5. Robert who lost his phone, looked for a new one and still managed and manages to be my shock absorber of issues about myself and other people (kahit na minsan nega ka tapos ayaw mong aminin, pero nega ka talaga. haha).

August 18, 2009

Despite the blah bleh blih bloh bluh day yesterday, I still thank God for:
1. Finally seeing my crush again (he said hi shyly)
2. Wendy's Greenbelt and long bus ride with Cess from Ayala to Cubao
3. Mc Do and Chiggy's with friends

Thanks Pat and Vir for the cozy monroy. Oh. And I won't thank God that Robert lost his phone. It's bad. Hahaha. Pao, it's okay. Whatever it is, it's okay. (Vir, don't text. Haha)

Random

As I was reading my inbox and deleting some very old messages a while ago, I read an old message from a friend that said,

"Bakit puro 'missing text' lang nakukuha ko? Heheh"

Sayang. I should have replied,

"Kasi miss na miss na kita. Heheh"

Posting to make myself happy. Hahaha.

August 17, 2009

Yesterday I was thankful for:
1. Receiving compliments on my attempt to powerdress (for only P121)
2. Seafood Island and Krispy Kreme with Cam, Lei and Cess (meeting about something included)
3. Burger Machine with Vir and Pao B. (sans rival for the nth time)

Hormones are talking. Hormones are talking. Please give me something to negate the negative energies caused by my hormones. Make me happy.

I exchanged UAAP for Ukay and August 16, 2009

Yes. Just like how Virlynn exchanged Lady Gaga for Ukay (but she was still able to watch the concert live anyway). But it's okay. The game was epic win for my alma mater, but at least I got to watch the game that reached overtime. And above all, at least my supposed scalper money tranformed into tangible things. So here's the story.

After mass, I told my mom that I'd go straight to Araneta to fall in line with Joey who was already waiting for me there. Because I arrived home broke (literally) from QR the night before, I had to go to BPI-Hi Top first to withdraw. The money was buo and I didn't know what to do, but I went to the LRT station anyway. But the people there didn't have change for my bill. And so, I went to the nearest Ukay to look for something interesting. But I told myself that I'd just be fast so that Joey won't get mad at me.

But the Ukay had a great sale that day. Mostly all of the clothes were sold 3 for 100 (or 40 pesos each), bags were priced 50 pesos and shoes were priced 60% off. Joey was texting and texting and I was so "kebs" that I got hit by my naturally-compulsive self for the nth time. Finally, I texted him sorry and that I'd watch at home instead.

And so, when I got home, everyone was surprised because I was carrying a big plastic bag full of clothes and shoes. My cousin and some of our guests (we had a party at home yesterday) were so amazed that they asked me to bring them there too. And so I bought stuff again. For less than 400 pesos, I was able to buy the following:

1. 3 dresses for 100 PhP
2. 1 full black skirt, 1 black top, 1 cover up for 100 PhP
3. Nine West black heels for 88 PhP
4. 1 trench coat for 40 PhP
5. 1 brown bag (which was arbored by my mom) for 50 PhP

Total: 378 PhP

And so, even if I'm a little bitter that I wasn't in Araneta yesterday, I know that I made a WHEAT-y decision, just like WHEAT BREED. Okay inside joke. Don't worry Blue Eagles, I promise to be there in the finals. KAPAL! One big fight. Oh yeah.

PS: Oh I'll include my thank you list here too.

I'm thankful for yesterday because:

1. of my Mom.
2. of my Ukay decision and my developing Ukay expertise
3. Ateneo won!
4. I got to watch Got 2 Believe again (via youtube).

Happy Post

Because I do not consider this emo...
Because God wants me to know this...

I am reposting my "Message from God" according to facebook.
By emo, I mean unhappy. So this one is justified. :)

Kate got a message that on this day, God wants her to know...
... that every little part of you is magical.

Yes, even the parts that hurt, even the ones that are feeling disease right now. It's alright to love what is in pain. More than alright, that's
exactly where your love is needed the most. So why not touch that part that hurts and smile at it, at yourself through it, and whisper: ''I love you.''
